They are not refs, they are linesmen. Refs are the ones with the orange arm bands you dumbasses. The linesmen will wait for them to finish beating on eachother or step in when a player is getting killed. Refs watch and determine who is getting what penalty or try to talk other players out of other altercations during the fight. Oh, by the way, fighting is not a part of hockey. We let them do that to work out their anger rather then a player taking a cheap shot at the other. It's less dangerouse
