The REAL LT Lawrence Taylor changed the face of both the position of linebacker and quarterback. People like Vick, McNabb and every other running quarterback wouldn't be playing professional football if it weren't for LT. LT was a god and I'm a little disappointed that Strahan now holds the Giants sack record.

I was there that day when it happened, you could hear it from the stands, was nasty, the crowd was quiet when they carried him off.

Screw joe theisman i am happy he got his ass kicked by taylor. he broke his leg and it was an amazing video. GO TAYLOR #56
"Theismann told the story of one significant change - his last name. He said his college coach changed its pronunciation from a long 'E' to a long 'I' so it would rhyme with the coveted Heisman Trophy - a marketing ploy that, from that day forward, essentially changed a bit of who Theismann was."

Just to set the record straight Joe did not change his name to rhyme with the Heisman. My mother was a Theismann and we have always pronounced it that way. Long before Joe played football.
THEISMANN HAS ALWAYS BEEN A SELF ABSORBED INDIVIDUAL. HE CHANGED THE PRONUNCIATION OF HIS NAME TO RHYME WITH HEISMAN BACK IN COLLEGE. HE JUDGES PEOPLE ON A PERPETUAL BASIS TO FEED HIS NARCISSISTIC DEMEANOR. AS A COMMENTATOR, HE IS THE MOST ILL-PREPARED PERSONALITY IN THE FIELD, WITH RANTINGS RARELY RELATED TO ACTION AT THE EVENT(Nice mittens Joe!). GOOD RIDDANCE, MR. THEEZMANN WE CAN ALL, ONCE AGAIN, LOOK FORWARD TO THE NFL ON MONDAY NIGHTS!!

Joe Theismann is a man of incredible strength. I am impressed that he went from being one of the greatest football players of all times to one of the best commentators in football. I also understand that he is a extraordinary business man and is very dedicated to his family. I am impressed all the way around.

Stu is right....Theismann is a great analyst...who the heck is that jerk Pete who says anything else. Obviously a person that doesn't know football. Joe calls the plays like they are, no beat around the bush with that guy. Way to call it stu!.

LT was a great linebacker, he had the record for most sacks until Strahan took it a few years back. That and two rings means he has to be pretty damn good. It's pointless to compare LT to Ray Lewis, they played in different eras and they both have Super Bowl rings anyways, so they both played their respective games very well. Regardless of what LT did outside of the game, looking strictly at football he was amazing and was vital to those championships with the Giants. To say otherwise is just f

For those of you that can't read, he said ALMOST IMMEDIATLEY, which means he probably felt the pain for a split second before shock took over his body. So he probably wasn't in any pain from there onwards.

Say what you want about LT, but he will always be remembered as a legend. Theisman was an is a loser. As a player and an analyst, I seriously have to question whethere or not he has a drug problem. Although I think MNF made another mistake in choosing an analyst, I will say that with Tony K in the booth, at least I can stomach Theisman now. As for Ray Lewis, LT will ***** slap his punk murdering ass!
LT is the best damn defensive player to ever play the game.plain an simple, this dude just killed ppl for a living. u r all morons to think urlacher or ray lewis are the best ever. u cant even put them in the same category. y dont u ask good old JT who is the best ever? may b he will change your minds..morons!!
just because he's looks like he was in a ton of pain, he probably really wasn't as he said. it just probably felt weird as hell and he was in panic
